I remember when I first started performing at Renaissance festivals. I quickly felt out of place because everyone seemed to have their own bowls, spoons and of course, mugs!

After finishing Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers, I thought it would be really cool to have a mug with my Celtic Cat log on it. So when I met a guy at Four Winds Renaissance Festival who was making wooden mugs, I decided to ask if he could do it. Not only did he make me a brilliant mug, but he threw out the idea of selling wooden mugs on the website. I knew a lot of Rennies who bought my CD. So why not?
